So let me introduce myself properly. My name is Rakel Sosa.

I’m a breath-work instructor, a stress management coach, a mother and a women’s health author. I started meditating at the age of 12 years old in my bedroom in my home town in Caracas, Venezuela. My training in the field of stress mastery started while working as a journalist for 11 years for Radio France International. I was trained in stress management techniques by the French Bioforce Institute to be able to handle the highest levels of tension that journalists undergo while covering conflict zones like Gaza Strip as I did, or difficult reporting environments like the New York and London terrorist attacks, or children sexual slavery in Central and South America, among others.

In parallel, at the age of 18 I went through a 6 years initiation in the Rajadhiraja Yoga lineage of Sri Sri Ananda Murti, and have been practicing and teaching breathing and mindfulness techniques for more than twenty years.

I was also trained by Master Healer David Elliott as a Pranayama Breath work instructor in Los Angeles. I have been working on stress management in private and group sessions in Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, United States and Venezuela since 2010.

I have worked with PDVSA (Venezuela’s oil company, El Sistema de Orquestas Juveniles (Youth Orchestra Institution in Venezuela), El Nacional (Journal), and University Rimay, among others. I am a regular contributor to the Huffington Post in the Healthy Living section. I am fluent in French, English and Spanish that allows me to teach in those three languages.

My large experience in stress management is complemented by a Communications Master’s degree from The Sorbonne University in Paris.

My goal is to guide you in times of high stress and difficulty, towards a life that you feel excited to live.

I know well how during moments of huge pressure emotions can easily turn against you, making you feel unmotivated, lonely, scared, frustrated and disappointed with yourself. The circle can get heavy, and hard to break. The thing is that these emotions can paralyse your life because, seriously, how can you focus on work or any kind of task when you feel anxious, overwhelmed and sometimes having the sensation that everything is falling apart inside you?

I’ve practiced and explored with clients and friends many kinds of healing therapies in my hometown in Venezuela and during my years living in Europe (10 years in Paris and now 5 in Berlin). By far the deepest work I have done up until now is Pranayama Yoga Meditation. By healing the body, mind and emotions at an energetic level you are getting to the core of your emotional imprints – as it allows you to change the structure of your cells. They receive a new imprint of well-being, and this well-being starts manifesting in every dimension of your life.

You experience physical relaxation, mental calm, emotional transformation and spiritual bliss.

When I tried the Pranayama Yoga Meditation for the first time with master healer David Elliott in Los Angeles I felt complete, whole, in tune with the universe with great inner peace. I felt this was something worth sharing. So I signed up for the training with the intention to share this technique with as many people as I could, and haven’t stopped since.

I have seen people’s life flourish with the use of this technique time after time.

Once anxiety, fear, sadness or anger are unblocked and transmuted, the resistance they create melts and flows and these dense emotions start working for you (as they are meant to) instead of paralysing you.

The final result is clarity about your life purpose, focus, trust in the creative energy of the universe that is in you, and a strong feeling of confidence that you are good enough already just as you are. You will radiate the charisma that only joy coming from within can give you. And most importantly you will discover a love for yourself, and a will to share that love through your creativity with the world.

When you love yourself you find your place in the world. Your interaction with everything becomes balanced so that money, respect, health, and much more love keep flowing into your life naturally.

Professional Bio

Rakel Sosa is a Certified Stress Management Coach specialized in Breathwork, Progressive Muscle Relaxation, Autogenic Training and has also a certification on Relaxation for Children from the Ahab Akademie in Berlin Germany. She has been practicing Rajadhiraja  Yoga for nineteen years in the lineage of Sri Sri Ananda Murti,  and was trained by Healer David Elliott as a Pranayama Breathwork healer. She has been working in private and group sessions in Germany, France, Italy, Switzerland, United States and Venezuela since 2010. She is the co-autor of Blooming Together, an Audio Pregnancy Program designed to enhance the wellbeing of babies and expectant mothers. She is the co-founder of Onearth Practice, a worldwide meditation group that promotes world peace through meditation. Rakel earned a master’s degree in Communication from The Sorbonne University in Paris. She worked as a journalist for 11 years for Radio France International covering social and political issues around the world. Today as a filmmaker and healer she uses her professional skills for promoting self-realization and well-being.
